AbiWord ver. 2.6.4
Abisource has released the latest version of AbiWord. The Abiword version 2.64 is ready to download and install. If you’ve use previous version of AbiWord, this is the time for upgrade. AbiWord is a free word processing program similar to Microsoft Word. It is suitable for typing papers, letters, reports, memos, etc. It is designed to integrate perfectly with the operating system it runs on. It will take advantage of the functionality provided by the system, such as image loading or printing capabilities.
Currently AbiWord run on most UNIX systems, Windows 95 and later, QNX Neutrino 6.2. AbiWord for MacOS X native port is also available. There used to be a BeOS port, but that version has been unmaintained for too long and support for it has been discontinued.
