New SSD Expansion Module 32GB / 64GB for EeePC 900 & 901
This is another good news for Asus EeePc User, especially for the owner of Asus EeePC 901, because Buffalo will release 32GB and 64GB PCI-E SSDs expansion module for the Asus EeePC 900 and 901. These SSD module should be available mid-to late September with retail price for the 32GB model around $150 and the 64GB will be $300. No further information whether this SSD module will use fast SLC chip or the slower MLC chip. If you live in Japan, you can order directly from Buffalo, but if you live elsewhere then you can place your pre-order via Conic

Eee Drive and Eee Writer The New Accessories for EeePC
Recently Sascha from Eee PC News posted two images of new accessories for Asus Eee PC. Even though we don’t have any official announcement on these product but these pictures look very legitimate. The first accessory is an Eee PC external hard drive (or Eee Drive) and the second one is an external Eee PC optical drive (or Eee Writer).

Eee PC 1000 finally arrives in UK
Good news for Asus EeePC fans whose eagerly awaiting to get the first Eee PC 1000. According to Biosmagazine two models of Eee PC 1000 are available in UK. One model features an 80GB traditional hard drive storage and Windows XP operating system, while the other (£369) comes complete with Linux and, 40GB shock-proof SSD, and a bonus 20GB of free online storage.

If you’ve been waiting for Asus Eee PC 1000 since its first announcement, then you’ll be pleased because you can now pre-order it from Amazon.com. The site however doesn’t provide specific release dates for this bigger successor of Asus Eee PC. ASUS is going to launch its 11-inch premium leather notebook pc ‘U2E’ in Japan market, which features LED backlight display with 1366 x 768 resolution.Equipped with 32GB SSD, the U2E is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 processor(1.20GHz) and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. The M70S offers a fantastic movie watching experience thanks to its huge, crisp display, excellent sound system and Blu-ray drive. You can also store an unbelievable amount of your own movies and music on the M70 too, thanks to its unheard of (on a notebook at least) 1 terabyte of storage space. The systems only major drawback is the annoying media controls embedded in the touchpad.
